Social Media Intern

Paragon HR Consulting, an HR consultancy based in Berks County, PA, is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to help manage and enhance our social media presence. This is an exciting opportunity to work with both Paragon HR Consulting and The Happy Human Being, a personal development business owned by the founder of Paragon.

In this role, you will focus on taking existing content and transforming it into visually compelling, brand-oriented social media content using tools like Canva or similar graphic design platforms. You will be responsible for designing and loading this content into Hootsuite for consistent scheduling and posting. Additionally, you will organize existing video content for stories, reels, and other formats, partnering closely with our Video Coordinator to ensure our YouTube channel and other platforms remain organized and on-brand.

  • Creating engaging and visually consistent social media content using Canva or other design tools.
  • Organizing and scheduling posts using Hootsuite to maintain brand consistency across platforms.
  • Managing and organizing video content for social media stories, reels, and YouTube.
  • Collaborating closely with our Video Coordinator to manage YouTube and other video channels.
  • Supporting similar social media-related tasks for *The Happy Human Being*.
  • Ensuring that all posts align with our branding guidelines and resonate with our target audience.

You will not be responsible for creating content but will focus on design, branding, and ensuring posts are scheduled consistently across all platforms.

Essential Functions Include:

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools.
  • Familiarity with social media management platforms, especially Hootsuite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Interest in social media trends, branding, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently with a combination of remote and onsite work as necessary.
  • Experience with paid social media advertising is a plus.
